Harman International Industries Inc Profit Climbs 13% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Harman International Industries Inc (HAR) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $113 million, or $1.57 per share. This was higher than $100 million, or $1.37 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 11.9% to $1.88 billion. This was up from $1.68 billion last year.
