Hamilton Sundstrand Signs Long-Term Parts Agreement With ACTS, Air Canada and Jazz
WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. , has signed a long-term agreement to provide Air Canada Technical Services (ACTS), Air Canada and Jazz with exclusive spare parts support on select airframe and engine accessories.
The eight-year agreement covers the supply of aircraft parts to support Air Canada and Jazz operations for all aircraft types, with an option to extend the deal an additional two years. ACTS is a primary maintenance provider for both airlines.

ACTS, Air Canada and Jazz are subsidiaries of Montreal-based ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. ACTS is a full-service maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organization that provides airframe, engine and component maintenance and various ancillary services to more than 100 global customers. ACTS operates maintenance centers across Canada with a combined workforce of 3,800 employees and has major bases in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver. Jazz is Air Canada's regional airline affiliate.
Air Canada provides scheduled and charter air transportation for passengers and cargo to more than 150 destinations on five continents. Canada's flag carrier is the 14th largest commercial airline in the world and together with Jazz serves 30 million customers annually with a fleet of 332 aircraft.
