Globant Profit Tops Estimates

(RTTNews) - Software solutions provider Globant (GLOB) on Thursday reported second-quarter net earnings of $7.6 million or $0.22 per share compared with $5.9 million or $0.20 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.25 per share compared with $0.20 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $60.6 million compared with $49.4 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.22 per share on revenues of $59.3 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the third quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.20 to $0.24 per share on revenues of $63.5 million to $65.5 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.24 per share on revenues of $64.5 million.

For the full year, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.90 to $0.96 per share on revenues of $247 million to $251 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.93 per share on revenues of $246.7 million.
