Gemstar-TV Guide Names Paul Greenberg General Manager, TV Guide.com

Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc. (Nasdaq: GMST), theleading provider of television information and guidance, announcedtoday that it has named Paul Greenberg general manager, TVGuide.com.Mr. Greenberg joins TVGuide from MusicNet, a leading online musicprovider where he was senior vice president, Global BusinessDevelopment and Partner Relations. In the newly created position ofgeneral manager at TVGuide.com, he will be responsible for theleadership, strategic development and day-to-day management of the Website, including editorial, production, marketing and productdevelopment. He will report to Richard Cusick, senior vice presidentand general manager, Digital Media for Gemstar-TV Guide. Ad sales andengineering for the Digital Media group will continue to report intoMr. Cusick.

In his previous role at MusicNet, Mr. Greenberg was responsiblefor negotiating and closing new partnership deals, including recentagreements with MTV, Yahoo!, and Virgin. He managed the PartnerRelations department, leading the strategic and operationalimplementation of the MusicNet service for distributors. He also ledthe Marketing, Public Relations and International groups.

Prior to joining MusicNet, Mr. Greenberg worked at MTV Networks asvice president, Business Operations for MTV.com, where he developednew content revenue streams, managed integration of major onlineoperating divisions and helped double site revenue and traffic in oneyear. Mr. Greenberg was also vice president, new business developmentat the MTVi Group, responsible for developing and executing strategyand partnerships as well as content syndication. Mr. Greenberg holds aBachelor's degree from Columbia College and a Master of BusinessAdministration from Columbia Business School.
