GAIN Capital Names Jason Emerson CFO

(RTTNews) - GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. (GCAP) said Monday that it has appointed Jason Emerson as its Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1.

Emerson was most recently Managing Director and Business Manager of KCG Holding's Global Execution Services division, responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the business. Previously, he served as KCG's Director of Financial Operations. Prior to KCG, Emerson held financial and operational positions at Instinet, Merrill Lynch and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

GAIN's interim CFO, Daryl Carlough, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
