Finlandia Vodka Flavor Declared the ''Master''

Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion won the only "Master” award in the flavored vodka category of the 2008 Vodka Masters Competition, hosted by the Spirit Business magazine in September. A panel of leading vodka and trade industry experts selected Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion for the competition’s highest honor out of the nearly 20 entries into the flavored vodka category.

"This is another tremendous accomplishment for Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion,” said Maureen Brekka, managing director of Finlandia Vodka. "We are honored to be selected as the best flavored vodka in this prestigious competition.”

Since the launch of Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion in 2006, it continues to win accolades from spirits experts around the globe, including a Double Gold medal in the 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition; a five-star rating, the highest recommendation, from Paul Pacult’s Spirits Journal; and scored a 96-100: "Highest Recommendation” by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

The flavor portfolio for Finlandia Vodka now accounts more than 20 percent of the brand’s total volume.
