Fairchild Semiconductor Q3 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc. (FCS) reported that its net loss for the third quarter 2015 widened to $8.2 million or $0.07 per share from $1.0 million or $0.01 per share in the third quarter of 2014. Included in the third quarter 2015 results were $27.7 million of restructuring and other expenses.

Adjusted net income was $23.3 million or $0.20 per share, compared to $34.4 million or $0.28 per share in the third quarter of 2014. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.20 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Quarterly sales were $342.1 million, down 10 percent from the third quarter of 2014. Wall Street expected revenues of $344.63 million for the quarter.
