    SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2005--Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), the leading global supplier of high performance products that optimize system power, today announced that Vice President and Corporate Treasurer, Pete Groth and Senior Director Investor Relations, Dan Janson will speak at the following upcoming financial conferences:

-- Janson will present at the Thomas Weisel Tech2005 at The Fairmont San Francisco in San Francisco, California on February 8 at 10:20 a.m. PT, and

-- Groth will present at the Smith Barney Small & Mid-Cap Conference at the Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada on February 16 at 3:05 p.m. PT.
