OTI Greentech AG group company launches subsidiary to service West African market

Berlin, 3 March 2016. OTI Greentech AG, an internationally active environmental technology company is targeting the West African market. For this purpose, group company VTT Maritime AS has set up a local subsidiary in Nigeria, together with two local partners.

The new subsidiary, VTT Maritime West Africa Ltd, will offer engineering services to the maritime industry, as well as the offshore oil & gas industry in West Africa. Services will include technical inspections of ships and rigs, as well as project management of complex maritime operations. VTT will be applying 25 years of knowledge of the industry and will be introducing advanced developed technologies from the harsh conditions of the North Sea. In addition, the new company aims to use the extensive contacts of its parent to act as an agent to help ship- and equipment owners access the West African market. Cash flow will be generated from the outset from repair and maintenance work and the company is already in discussions regarding multiple major projects.
