Neubiberg/Munich, April 7, 2016 - CHORUS Clean Energy AG ("CHORUS") based in Neubiberg near Munich, a company specializing in the operation of solar and wind parks, managed to get the Zagersdorf wind park in the Austrian state of Burgenland, which it acquired in December 2015, fully operational at the end of March - significantly before the originally anticipated launch date. This was due to the seamless cooperation between all parties involved, who were able to substantially accelerate on-site completion of the turbines by optimizing processes.

The wind park in Zagersdorf in the Austrian state of Burgenland comprises three proven Enercon E-92 turbines with a hub height of 104 meters. It benefits from a guaranteed feed-in tariff of at least 9.27 euro cents per kilowatt hour over a period of 13 years.

As it has been connected to the grid ahead of schedule, it will generate around 10 percent more kilowatt hours (kWh) than expected, which corresponds to an additional production of around 1,500,000 kWh. This enables a further saving of around 900 tonnes of climate-damaging CO2.
