- Acquisition of two wind parks in Germany with a combined capacity of more than 18 megawatts

- Parks purchased using IPO proceeds

Neubiberg/Munich, March 31, 2016 - CHORUS Clean Energy AG ("CHORUS") based in Neubiberg near Munich, a company specializing in the operation of solar and wind parks, acquired two wind parks in Germany with a combined capacity of more than 18 megawatts (MW). The move brings the total capacity of the CHORUS renewable energy portfolio to over 325 MW.

CHORUS purchased the wind park Amöneburg in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district of Hessen and the Zellertal wind park in the Donnersbergkreis district of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Wind park Amöneburg consists of five GE 2.5-120 turbines from proven manufacturer General Electric - one of the leading providers of electricity generation and supply technologies. The turbines each have a nominal capacity of 2.53 MW and a hub height of 139 meters. The two GE 2.75-120 turbines at the Zellertal park are also from the same manufacturer. They have a nominal capacity of 2.78 MW each and a hub height of 139 meters.

Four of the seven turbines are already in operation, the full commissioning is scheduled at short notice. The 20-year fixed feed-in tariff averages out to about EUR 88 per megawatt-hour (MWh). Together, the wind parks are expected to produce more than 50,000 MWh of electricity from their first year of operation and therefore contribute over EUR 4.5 million to the group's revenue. The overall investment volume including the debt component for the two wind parks amounted to more than EUR 40 million. The purchase is still subject to the customary conditions precedent.

Both parks were purchased using the proceeds from the company's IPO. With these acquisitions, the CHORUS portfolio currently consists of about 53 percent wind energy and about 47 percent solar energy.
