DGAP-News: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG: Successful start to financial year for CENTROTEC

Brilon, May 14, 2019: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, increased its consolidated revenue by 5.6% to EUR 147.2 million (previous year EUR 139.4 million) in the first three months of the current financial year, following growth in all three operating segments. On this basis, the operating result (EBIT) was increased by 6.8% to EUR 4.1 million (previous year EUR 3.8 million). Thanks to the substantially improved financial result at the reporting date, among other factors, earnings per share (EPS) climbed to EUR 0.26 (previous year EUR 0.05).
The performance in the first quarter of 2019 confirms the revenue and earnings growth expected for the year as a whole, to EUR 620 to 640 million and EUR 31 to 33 million respectively. The investment volume previously increased in the past year and remaining high in 2019 - with a focus on the expansion and modernisation of the production facilities in Germany and internationally, as well as on the digitalisation of products and processes - broadens CENTROTEC's basis to continue targeting profitable growth.
