Luxembourg court hearing date update in connection with Standard Industries' preliminary injunction

Luxembourg, 12 December 2016. The Board of Directors of Braas Monier Building Group S.A. (the "Board") announces that the date for the extraordinary hearing with the relevant Luxembourg court, to consider Braas Monier's submission that the preliminary injunction issued on 5 December 2016 should be withdrawn, has been changed due to procedural reasons from Monday 12 December to Wednesday 14 December. A judgment will be rendered in due course after the hearing.

The Board continues to recommend that shareholders do not accept the Standard Industries offer and do not tender their shares.

The Board will write to shareholders again in due course.
