Denbury Resources Q4 Profit Down, Misses View

(RTTNews) - Independent oil and natural gas company Denbury Resources Inc. (DNR) said its fourth-quarter net income slid to $90 million or $0.25 per share from $115 million or $0.30 per share a year ago.

Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter totaled $0.27, where as twenty-one analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had expected the company to report earnings per share of $0.31. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

For the fourth quarter, revenues declined to $599.12 million from $609.2 million last year, while analysts had expected revenues of $617.02 million.
