Cummins Raises FY17 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - While reporting its first-quarter financial results today, Cummins Inc. (CMI) raised its financial outlook for fiscal 2017.

For fiscal 2017, Cummins now forecasts EBIT in a range of 11.75 percent to 12.5 percent of sales, up from the prior guidance of 11 percent to 11.5 percent of sales.

Cummins now expects full-year 2017 revenues to be up 4 to 7 percent, compared to prior guidance of flat to down 5 percent.

The revised forecast excludes the impact of the new joint venture with Eaton, which will be consolidated within Cummins' financial results and is expected to be operational in the third quarter of this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
