Corning Display Technologies Executive Honored by IDG's Computerworld; Frank Glauner Recognized as One of Business World's ``Premier 100 IT Leaders''

    CORNING, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2005--Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) announced today that Frank J. Glauner, director of information technology for Corning Display Technologies, has been recognized by Computerworld as one of the business world's "Premier 100 IT Leaders."
    The publication's award honors executives who show exemplary technology leadership in resolving business problems. Glauner will be honored at Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference March 6-8, 2005 at the Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, Scottsdale, Ariz.
    Glauner was selected from nearly 600 nominees, who were measured against Computerworld's IT Leadership Index, a set of characteristics that describes executives who guide the effective use of IT in their organizations. The field of nominees was evaluated by the editors and by an external panel of judges. Other honorees include IT executives from corporations such as UPS, Hewlett-Packard, MasterCard International LLC and AFLAC.
