Coca-Cola Says, Troy Taylor To Lead The Newly Formed Bottling Company

(RTTNews) - The Coca-Cola Co. (KO) Wednesday said Troy Taylor will lead the newly formed bottling company of Central Florida as its chairman and chief executive officer.

Earlier, in 2013, the Coca-Cola company had signed letters of intent with five U.S. bottlers - Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Inc., Swire Coca-Cola USA, Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country and Corinth Coca-Cola Bottling Works, Inc., for creating a stronger U.S. business model by granting new, expanded territories.

The company said it will work collaboratively with the bottlers in all of the newly granted territories, for implementing key elements of the evolving U.S. operating model.

The company said it is very encouraged by the transitions that have taken place with each of these bottlers in 2014 and is positioned to complete the initial transitions in 2015.

The transition of territories in Central Florida were announced on February 21, 2014 and will include Tampa/St.Petersburg, Ft. Myers, Ft. Pierce, Lakeland and Sarasota.
