Citrix Systems Inc Q3 Income Advances 24%

(RTTNews) - Citrix Systems Inc (CTXS) announced earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $207.89 million, or $1.32 per share. This was up from $168.04 million, or $1.04 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.19 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.4% to $841.25 million. This was up from $813.27 million last year.
