Carrefour (Paris:CA) group indicates that discussions are underway with Klépierre with a view towards acquiring a portfolio of shopping malls, but specifies that at this stage the two companies have not reached an agreement.

The Group will make a further communication to the market in due time, should there be a significant change in these discussions. If an agreement were to be reached, the specific details of the transaction would be disclosed.
