C&D Technologies Names Michael Crowley Vice President and Chief Information Officer

BLUE BELL, Pa., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- C&D Technologies, Inc. , a leading global producer and marketer of electrical power storage and conversion products used in telecommunications and industrial applications, today announced that Michael C. Crowley has joined C&D as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Crowley has served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for several large corporations including Avaya, Inc., Campbell Soup Company and Rich Products Corporation. Most recently, he has led his own Information Technology (IT) management consulting group focusing on IT strategic planning, transformation and service delivery.

Mr. Crowley graduated from Penn State University, with a BS in Operations Management, and received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
