Belden Inc. Reveals 29% Rise In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Belden Inc. (BDC) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $69.31 million, or $1.63 per share. This was higher than $53.87 million, or $1.24 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.48 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.8% to $602.50 million. This was down from $613.73 million last year.
