Beacon Roofing Supply Q3 Net Income Rises; Sales Up 8.3% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (BECN) reported third quarter net income of $28.3 million, compared to $26.8 million, prior year. Net income per share was $0.56, compared to $0.54.

The company said its net income for the quarter was favorably impacted by gross margins which improved by 90 basis points over the prior year. This was partially offset by increased operating expenses driven by the incremental costs associated with the three acquisitions made in the current fiscal year and the greenfields opened in the last 21 months.
