Bank of America Names Kurt L. Walsdorf Idaho State President

SEATTLE, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America Market President Executive Graham W. Denton today announced that Kurt L. Walsdorf has been named Idaho state president. Walsdorf currently serves as market executive of The Commercial Bank of Bank of America for Eastern Washington and Idaho.

As state president, Walsdorf will provide business, civic and philanthropic leadership for Bank of America throughout Idaho. He will work to strengthen communication and integration among the company's local business lines, continuously improve customer experience, grow revenue in the state and enhance Bank of America's presence in the community.

In his role as state president, Walsdorf will lead a cross-functional team of seasoned banking leaders with many years of experience in the community.

Walsdorf began his career with Bank of America in 1984. During that time, he held various commercial banking, client management and senior leadership positions. Presently, Walsdorf manages a team of Client Managers responsible for delivering the Bank's commercial lending activities in Eastern Washington and Idaho. He has held his current position of Market President and Market Executive in Eastern Washington since 2003.

During his career, Walsdorf has devoted a great deal of his free time to charitable and civic activities. Presently, he is a member of the Idaho Business Council.

He is an active board member of Greater of Spokane Incorporated, Gonzaga University School of Business Dean's Forum, School of Global Commerce & Management at Whitworth College and the Inland Northwest Council of Boy Scouts of America. He is an active community leader for March of Dimes and also serves on an advisory council to the Inland Northwest Blood Center. He previously served as a board member for Robert Morris Associates, Junior Achievement of Inland Northwest, and the Northwest Business Development Association. He is married with three sons.

Walsdorf is a graduate of Carroll College in Helena, Montana with degrees in Business and Finance. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington, and Western Agricultural Credit School in Pullman, Washington.
