NEW CASTLE, Pa., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Axion Power International, Inc. (OTC QB: AXPW), the developer of advanced lead-carbon PbC® batteries and energy storage systems, announced plans to release its results for the second quarter 2013 before the market opens in New York on Thursday, August 15, 2013. Axion's management team will host a conference call to discuss the Company's financial results on the same day, at 11:00 am ET.
