Axalta Coating Turns To Profit In Q1 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. (AXTA) reported first-quarter net income of $46.7 million or $0.19 per share, compared to loss of $3.7 million or $0.02 per share in the year ago quarter.

Net sales were $989.2 million for the latest first quarter, down 5.6% from $1.05 billion in the same quarter a year ago.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.14 per share and revenues of $1.00 billion for the quarter.

The company is reiterating its outlook for the full year 2015 and expects net sales growth of 5-7% in constant currency and flat to slightly down including the impact of currency.
