AutoNation Inc. Reveals 8% Drop In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - AutoNation Inc. (AN) reported earnings for fourth quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit declined to $107.4 million, or $0.96 per share. This was down from $116.9 million, or $1.02 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.7% to $5.34 billion. This was up from $5.05 billion last year.
