Armour Residential REIT Posts Q3 Profit Of $54.1 Mln

(RTTNews) - Armour Residential REIT Inc. (ARR) reported that its GAAP net income for third-quarter 2014 was approximately $54.1 million and $0.14 per share.

Core Income for the latest-quarter was approximately $49.0 million and $0.13 per share.

The company paid dividends of $0.05 per Common share of record for each month of the third-quarter 2014, resulting in payments to Common stockholders of approximately $53.8 million. The Company also paid monthly dividends in the third-quarter 2014 of $0.171875 per outstanding share of 8.250% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock and $0.1640625 per outstanding share of 7.875% Series B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, resulting in payments to preferred stockholders of an aggregate of approximately $3.9 million.
