Align Technology Climbs Off Worst Levels But Remains Sharply Lower

(RTTNews) - Shares of Align Technology, Inc. (ALGN) have climbed off their worst levels of the day but remain sharply lower in afternoon trading on Thursday. After hitting its lowest level in a year, Align is currently down by 21.3 percent.

Align initially came under pressure after the medical device company reported better than expected third quarter results but provided disappointing fourth quarter guidance.

The company forecast fourth quarter earnings of $1.10 to $1.15 per share on revenues of $505 to $515 million, while analysts had expected earnings of $1.33 per share on revenues of $545.1 million.
