    RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2005--Alcoa Flexible Packaging announced today a new application for its Reynolon(R) 7011 shrink film packaging. The soft, low-shrink, tight-fitting film is now used by Westpoint Stevens, one of the nation's premier manufacturers and marketers of bed and bath home furnishings, on its Martex(R) brand premium bedding and bath accessories, as well as other well known home furnishing brands.
    "We've revitalized Reynolon 7011 film packaging so it can be used for the most elegant packages. The soft feel of the film makes it ideal for wrapping premium bed linens, as consumers have expressed that a soft package is more pleasing to touch.     Reynolon 7011 film packaging is used to create bags in a variety of shapes and sizes. It is frequently used for packaging various items ranging from rugs to dog bones.
