Albany International Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Albany International Corp. (AIN) reported third-quarter net income attributable to the company of $11.81 million or $0.37 per share, compared to $4.70 million or $0.15 per share, last year. The company said its earnings for the quarter were reduced by restructuring charges of $0.02 and income tax adjustments of $0.01, and were increased by foreign currency revaluation gains of $0.08 and an insurance-recovery gain of $0.01.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.36 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales were $179.86 million, compared to $183.15 million, prior year. Analysts expected revenue of $189.30 million for the quarter.
