Aecom Prices US$1.6 Bln Of Senior Notes

(RTTNews) - Engineering design firm Aecom Technology Corp. (ACM) said Thursday that it has priced its offering of US$1.6 billion in aggregate principal amount of its senior notes maturing in 2022 and 2024.

The $800 million of 2022 senior notes and $800 million of 2024 senior notes will pay interest semiannually at a rate of 5.75% and 5.875%, respectively.

Aecom expects to close the sale of the senior notes on or about October 6.

The company plans to use the net proceeds, together with cash on hand and borrowings under its new senior secured credit facilities, to repay certain existing indebtedness and to fund all of the cash consideration of the proposed acquisition of URS Corp. pursuant to the merger agreement dated July 11, 2014.
