South Korea Producer Prices Sink 0.8% In March

(RTTNews) - Producer prices in South Korea were down 0.8 percent on month in March, the Bank of Korea said on Wednesday - after sliding 0.3 percent in February.

Individually, prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products rose 1.2 percent on month, while manufacturing products tumbled 1.4 percent, services fell 0.3 percent and utilities were roughly unchanged.

On a yearly basis, producer prices were down 0.5 percent after rising 0.7 percent in the previous month.

Individually, prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products rose 5.4 percent on year, while manufacturing products tumbled 2.4 percent, services added 1.0 percent and utilities were up 2.9 percent.

The Domestic Supply Price Index fell 1.0 percent on month and 0.2 percent on year in March.
