South Korea Industrial Output On Tap For Thursday

(RTTNews) - South Korea will on Thursday release September figures for industrial production, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

In August, industrial production fell 3.8 percent on month and 2.8 percent on year.

Australia will see Q3 numbers for import and export prices, as well as September data on new home sales.

Import prices are expected to add 0.2 percent on quarter after falling 3.0 percent in Q2. Export prices are tipped to decline 4.7 percent on quarter after tumbling 7.9 percent in the three months prior. New home sales gained 3.3 percent on month in August.

Japan will provide September figures for vehicle production; in August, production was down 6.7 percent on year.
