Slovenia's Retail Sales Rise For Second Month

(RTTNews) - Slovenia's retail sales increased for the second successive month in November, but at a slower pace than in October, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.

Retail sales volume increased 0.7 percent month-on-month in November, which marked the second successive rise. However, the growth rate was weaker than October's 1.8 percent.

Sales, excluding automotive fuel, rose 0.5 percent during the month. Retail sales of non-food products advanced 1.5 percent, while sales of food products decreased by 0.7 percent.

Year-on-year, trade in the retail sector edged up 0.1 percent in November. During the January-November period, sales dropped 3.5 percent from the corresponding period of 2012, data showed.
