(RTTNews) - Peru's national production recorded an annual increase of 7.81% in April, accumulating 105 months of continuous growth, according to the South American country's statistics office (Inei).
This behavior in April, according to the Inei, was driven by traditional products (14.05%), such as copper, zinc, molybdenum, oil and gas, and non-traditional products (27.5%), such as agriculture, iron, and steel, mining not metallic, chemical and metal-mechanic.
The result also contributed to the recovery of domestic demand associated with the higher imports of non-durable consumer goods (14.03%), retail sales (3.15%) and consumer loans (7.49%).
