Denmark Industrial Production Falls In March
(RTTNews) - Denmark's industrial production decreased in March, after remaining flat in the previous month, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Friday.
Industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 2.2 percent month-over-month in March. In February, production showed no variations, which was revised down from a 0.1 percent drop reported earlier.
Production in the capital goods industry declined the most by 7.5 percent over the month, followed by the textile and tobacco industry with 6.3 percent fall. At the same time, output in the pharmaceutical sector registered a growth of 6.8 percent.
During the first quarter of this year, industrial production expanded 4.9 percent compared with the fourth quarter of 2015.
