Czech Jobless Rate Stable In July

(RTTNews) - The unemployment rate in the Czech Republic remained stable in July, figures from the Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs showed Friday.

The jobless rate came in at 7.4 percent in July, the same as in June. In May, the unemployment rate was at 7.5 percent.

The number of unemployed people increased to 541,364 in July from 537,17 in June. Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the number of unemployed people fell 9,732 in July.

Of the total unemployed people, new comers amounted to 56,478. This was 12,174 more than in June.

The total number of vacancies increased 1,600 over the month and 10,904 over the year to 51,079 in July.
