COLOMBIA: Producer Prices Rise 4.25% In April, Fastest Increase Since 2017
(RTTNews) - The Producer Price Index (PPI) of Colombia rose 4.25% in April from a year before, the steepest increase since November 2017. In March, the index had a 3.57% rise, according to the national statistics office (DANE).
The mining sector recorded a 20.98% annual increase in producer prices in April. In the industrial and agricultural sectors, the index had smaller gains, of 1.49% and 0.35%, respectively.
In the monthly comparison, the April PPI increased 0.24%, after decreasing 0.19% in March.
