COLOMBIA: Exports Rise Less Than Imports; Trade Deficit Widens In June
(RTTNews) - Colombia's trade balance recorded a US$ 832.1 million deficit in June, from a US$ 771.2 million deficit in the same period of 2016, said the country's statistics office.
Exports in June were 0.83% higher than a year before, at US$ 2.777 billion.
Imports had a 2.4% increase, to US$ 3.610 billion - the highest level for that month since 2015. Imports were boosted by purchases from manufactured products, food and beverages.
