China Manufacturing Index On Tap For Tuesday
(RTTNews) - China will on Tuesday see preliminary March results for the HSBC Manufacturing PMI, setting the pace for a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The index is expected to show a score of 50.3 - down from 50.7 in February but still barely above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
China also will see February numbers for the leading and coincident indexes from the Conference Board; in January, they were up 0.9 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.
Australia will see January figures for the leading and coincident indexes from the Conference Board; in December, they were up 0.4 percent, and 0.3 percent, respectively.
Japan will see preliminary March data for the manufacturing PMI from Markit Economics; in February, the index had a score of 51.6.
