Chile Industrial Production Rises In November

(RTTNews) - Chile's industrial production rose in November, data from INE showed on Monday.

Industrial production grew by 0.4 percent year-on-year in November, led by increases in two of the three sub-sectors.

In November, Chile's mining production rose by 5.7 percent annually with metal mining registering a 6.4 percent growth.

The electricity, gas and water production index had a 12-month increase of 0.7 percent.

Annually, the manufacturing sector production index shrank 4.7 percent in November, led by a 5.5 percent slump in food production.

On a month-on-month basis, industrial production rose a calendar adjusted 1.4 percent in November.
