BRAZIL: 661 Jobs Were Closed In June

(RTTNews) - Brazil recorded a net loss of 661 jobs in June, resulting in 1,167,531 admissions and 1,168,192 layoffs.

In the same month of last year, the Brazilian economy registered net creation of 9,821 jobs, according to data released by the Ministry of Labor.

In the first half of 2018, the country created 392,461 jobs, or 1.04% more than in the same period of 2017. Considering the balances of the 12 months through June, 280,093 formal jobs were created, 0.74% more than in the previous period.
