Belgium Growth Slows In Q3
(RTTNews) - Belgium's economic growth slowed in the third quarter after gaining momentum strongly in the previous three months, preliminary figures from the National Bank of Belgium showed Friday.
Gross domestic product grew 0.2 percent from the second quarter, when the economy expanded 0.5 percent. In the first three months of the year, growth was 0.1 percent. A year ago, growth was 0.1 percent.
On an year-on-year basis, GDP rose 1.2 percent in the third quarter, the same pace as in the previous three months. In the first quarter, the economy grew 1.3 percent.
