Australia Data On Tap For Tuesday
(RTTNews) - Australia will release a raft of data on Tuesday, setting the pace for a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity. On tap are December numbers for home loans, January results for the NAB survey for business confidence and conditions, plus Q4 data for house prices.
Home loans are expected to rise 0.7 percent after gaining 1.1 percent in November. Business confidence saw a score of 6 in December and conditions came in at 4. House prices are tipped to gain 3.0 percent on quarter and 8.6 percent on year after adding 1.9 percent on quarter and 7.6 percent on year in the previous three months.
Indonesia will release Q4 figures for current account; in Q3, the current account deficit was $8.45 billion. The capital account surplus was $43 million and the financial account surplus was $4.89 billion.
