Wisconsin Energy Corporation -- Amended and restated WEC merger settlement agreement is credit neutral

New York, March 19, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service comments that the amended and restated agreement that Wisconsin Energy Corporation (WEC; A2 negative) and Wisconsin Electric Power Company (WEPCO; A1 stable) entered into on March 12, 2015, in Michigan, is credit neutral. The new agreement was entered with the Attorney General, the Commission Staff as well as the iron mines Tilden Mining Company and Empire Iron Mining Partnership. It supersedes and replaces the agreement executed on January 12, 2015.
