United Technologies Corporation -- Moody's says United Technologies Spin of Sikorsky is Credit Negative

New York, March 12, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service said the ratings and outlook for United Technologies Corporation (UTC, A2 stable) are unaffected at this time by the announcement that its Board of Directors has authorized a review of strategic alternatives for the company's Sikorsky Aircraft (Sikorsky) business, including a potential tax-free spin-off.
