U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. -- Moody's assigns B2 CFR to U.S. Xpress; B3 to new senior secured notes

New York, July 11, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") assigned a B2 Corporate Family Rating ("CFR") to truckload carrier U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. ("U.S.Xpress") and a B3 rating to the new $320 million senior secured notes due 2024 that U.S.Xpress plans to issue. The net proceeds of the notes will be used substantially to repay existing indebtedness. The ratings outlook is stable.
