Telecom Italia S.p.A. -- Moody's: Increased risk aversion and market volatility to keep Euro-area periphery high-yield issuance at depressed levels
London, 09 February 2016 -- Corporate high yield issuance from Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland and Portugal is likely to remain depressed in 2016 as a result of increased risk aversion and market volatility due to the China's slowdown and volatile commodity prices and the uncertainty on euro-area periphery reforms, says Moody's Investors Service in a special report published today. Issuance in all five countries plummeted by 64% to $10.9 billion last year.
