Syngenta AG -- Moody's: Monsanto's negative outlook remains despite failed takeover bid for Syngenta

New York, August 27, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service stated that its negative outlook on Monsanto Company's (Monsanto) ratings will stay in place, despite the recent announcement that it will no longer actively pursue the acquisition of Syngenta AG (A2 negative), as we believe that event risk will remain elevated.
