London, 19 May 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has today assigned a rating of A1 to Siemens Financieringsmaatschappij N.V.'s senior unsecured note issuance. Siemens Financieringsmaatschappij N.V. is a directly wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens Aktiengesellschaft 's (Siemens) and the notes are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Siemens. The issue is for general corporate purposes, which may include financing of recently announced acquisitions. The rating outlook is stable.
